Catching up

I know, I know... I am behind again. I have found Facebook (and begrudgingly, Twitter) much easier to use. I update from my phone and everyone can see exactly what I am doing, when I am doing it. I am sure no one is sick of "Krista is eating lunch" and "Krista is awake" kinds of posts at all.

So, I went to the New Kids on the Block concert in Biloxi. It was so much fun, y'all! We rented a car and drove down the day of the concert. We stopped at the casino and took pictures of the tour buses (because we are dorks) and then went to our hotel. We stayed in a hotel with a beach front view, but we were too busy to enjoy it! We got ready, went to the amazing (!!) show and then ate dinner. We made it back to the hotel (just 2 miles from the concert) at 4:30am. The next day we had lunch at the Hard Rock casino and then headed home. I will post pictures as soon as I get the good ones.

My mom and step dad are here. They got in to town yesterday. Currently, my mom is watching tv and my step dad is fishing with two of the boys. Third boy won't take his nose out of the computer long enough. He will, though. He will.

Marty is off Tuesday and we are thinking of going to Biloxi/Gulfport or Gulf Shores for the day. My mom loves water... ocean, Gulf, large lake, fast moving river - it doesn't matter - so we are going to pack up our tailgater and head to the water. Other than that and a trip to Bass Pro Shop, that is all we have planned.

Surgery is 10 days away. Just thinking of it makes me nervous, so I try not to. Of course, that makes me think of it more. I don't know why I do this to myself.
